LiPo Battery Charging and Storage
LiPo batteries must only be charged using a charger designed for LiPo batteries. Balancing the cells during charging helps maintain the battery's condition, so use the battery's balance connector and a LiPo balance charger.
- Do not discharge the battery below 3 V per cell.
- Do not charge the battery above 4.2 V per cell.
- Charge the battery at room temperature and never leave it charging unattended.
- For long-term storage, the manufacturer recommends a charge level of approximately 70%.
- Disconnect the battery from the airsoft gun after use.
According to the manufacturer, a correctly used LiPo battery has an average lifespan of approximately 500-700 charge and discharge cycles.
