rimal Gear APTV (All-Purpose Tactical Vest) chest rig is a very lightweight and slightly restrictive chest rig carrying device. The vest consists of three magazine pockets suitable for one M4/AK74 magazine, on top of which one larger general pocket and two pistol magazine pockets are sewn. The magazine pockets have hard plastic stiffeners that press the magazine firmly in place. The vest also includes a dangler-type additional pocket with Velcro fastening under the rig, with a large Velcro fastener, a spacious main pocket for carrying first aid supplies, etc. The dangler also has an elastic loop for carrying a tension band.
The general purpose pocket sewn to the front of the magazine pockets closes with a zipper and has a small Velcro patch sewn on its surface for attaching various badges. The vest comes with very low profile shoulder straps, with a wide length adjustment that can be adjusted to fit users of all sizes. The side of the rig that comes against the chest has a Velcro surface covered with a flap to ensure that the rig stays in place when the rig is attached to the surface of a plate carrier that supports clip attachment with clips.
