Novritsch SSX10 HPA Scout Sniper Rifle
The Novritsch SSX10 HPA Scout Sniper Rifle is a lightweight precision rifle designed from the ground up specifically for HPA operation. Its exceptionally short and light bolt pull, adjustable power, TDC hop-up and compact construction make it an interesting alternative to a conventional spring-powered airsoft sniper rifle.
Instead of compressing a heavy main spring every time the rifle is cycled, the SSX10 uses compressed air supplied from an external HPA system. This makes the bolt pull extremely light and allows fast follow-up shots while retaining the manually operated feel of a bolt-action precision rifle.
To operate the SSX10, you need a compressed air tank, HPA regulator and HPA line. All three components are required for normal HPA operation and are not included with the rifle.
Please note: the SSX10 is supplied without a stock. A compatible Picatinny-mounted stock is sold separately.
Purpose-built HPA platform
The SSX10 has been designed specifically around HPA operation rather than being a conventional spring rifle converted to compressed air. Connect the rifle to an HPA tank through a regulator and HPA line, set the required operating pressure and the muzzle energy can be adjusted without changing the main spring.
Novritsch recommends an operating pressure between approximately 60 and 160 PSI. Depending on regulator pressure and BB weight, the manufacturer specifies a muzzle-energy range from approximately 1 J to over 3 J.
The rifle is equipped with a US-spec HPA connector.
Short and light bolt pull
One of the most noticeable advantages of the HPA system is the bolt action. Because the bolt does not have to compress a conventional sniper-rifle spring, only a short and light movement is required to cycle the rifle.
This makes follow-up shots considerably quicker and requires very little effort compared with a traditional spring-powered precision rifle.
Quiet operation
The dedicated HPA mechanism has a very low mechanical sound signature. When combined with a compatible suppressor, the SSX10 can be made exceptionally quiet, which is particularly useful for players who rely on concealment and carefully placed shots.
The outer barrel features a standard 14 mm CCW thread for compatible suppressors and other muzzle devices.
TDC hop-up with click adjustment
The SSX10 uses a true TDC hop-up system with click-based adjustment. Hop-up pressure is applied directly from above, providing consistent pressure on the hop-up bucking while the click adjustment helps the selected setting remain in place.
The CNC-machined aluminium hop-up chamber is designed around controlled bucking contact and is compatible with VSR-10 specification inner barrels and hop-up buckings. Novritsch has designed the system particularly with heavier BBs in mind.
Internal BB catch
An internal BB catch keeps a loaded BB from simply rolling out of the barrel before the shot. This is particularly useful in a precision rifle that may be carried or aimed at different angles before firing.
Lightweight CNC aluminium construction
The SSX10 combines a full CNC-machined aluminium upper construction with a fibre-reinforced polymer lower. This keeps the rifle rigid while reducing unnecessary weight.
Without a stock, the rifle weighs approximately 1.5 kg and measures approximately 563 mm in length, making it considerably more compact than many traditional airsoft sniper rifles.
Ambidextrous operation
The charging handle can be installed on either side of the rifle, allowing the SSX10 to be configured for both right- and left-handed users.
Integrated QD sling points and attachment slots also provide several options for carrying the rifle.
Steel trigger group with adjustable trigger pull
The internal trigger components are made from steel for durability. Trigger resistance can be adjusted with a grub screw, allowing the trigger feel to be tuned according to the user's preference.
Picatinny stock interface
The rear of the receiver features a Picatinny stock interface instead of a permanently installed stock. This allows the user to choose a compatible Picatinny-mounted stock and also makes folding-stock configurations possible with suitable components.
The stock is not included with the rifle and is sold separately.

Important safety information
The SSX10 does not have a mechanical safety. Novritsch instructs the user to disconnect the HPA line when the rifle needs to be made completely safe. Always follow proper trigger discipline and safe airsoft gun handling practices.
