The Midland Bow-M is very similar in design to the Bowman headset used by many armed forces. This headset – a combination of earpiece and microphone – is designed to make communication easier when using radios. The Bow-M EVO K fits on the head with a harness made of elastic straps and mesh fabric. The Midland headset includes several innovations to improve usability. The system offers two separate earpiece options: the first is a standard speaker-type earpiece, and the second is a pneumatic in-ear “ear-plug” earpiece. The selected earpiece can be switched using the slider on the headset body. The microphone is mounted on a flexible boom that can be adjusted to the user’s mouth position. The boom can also be rotated around its attachment point, allowing the headset to be worn on either the left or right ear.
Compatible with all radios using a Kenwood 2-pin connector. This also fits the popular Baofeng radios!
