Action Army AAP01C gas pistol, Full Auto / Semi Auto - Black
The Action Army AAP01C is the compact version of the popular AAP01 gas blowback pistol. It combines selectable semi-automatic and fully automatic fire with a shortened upper assembly, integrated Picatinny rails and compatibility with G-series gas magazines.
The lightweight fibre-reinforced polymer construction keeps the pistol easy to handle, while the compact 184 mm overall length makes the AAP01C particularly suitable as a sidearm and for fast-paced CQB use. Picatinny rails on both the upper and lower sections provide mounting points for optics, lights and other compatible accessories.
Important: adjust the hop-up before first use
The hop-up is typically set completely to zero at the factory and must be adjusted before the pistol is used for the first time.
At the zero setting, the hop-up nub does not press the bucking far enough into the inner barrel to retain the BB. A loaded BB may therefore roll freely through the barrel and fall out of the muzzle. This is normal and does not indicate a fault with the pistol.
Adjust the hop-up through the ejection port according to the supplied instructions until the BB is retained correctly, and then fine-tune the setting according to the BB weight being used.
Compact and accessory-ready
Compared with the standard AAP01, the AAP01C uses a considerably shorter upper assembly and an 84 mm inner barrel. Integrated upper and lower Picatinny rails make it easy to configure the pistol with a red dot sight, weapon light or other suitable accessories.
The fire selector is located at the rear of the upper receiver for quick access. The pistol also features fibre-optic sights, an ambidextrous bolt catch and a reversible magazine release.
G-series magazine compatibility
The AAP01C uses a G-series style gas magazine and is compatible with many magazines based on the same specification. The included Green Gas magazine holds 23 BBs.
Magazine fit and feeding may vary slightly between manufacturers, so compatibility should always be checked when using aftermarket magazines.
