PolarStar V2 Hop Up Thing Gearbox Lip 0.285" for Fusion Engine/Kythera - Black
The PolarStar V2 Hop Up Thing Gearbox Lip 0.285" is a tighter replacement for the standard gearbox lip supplied with the PolarStar Hop Up Thing. The black 0.285" version is designed specifically for PolarStar Fusion Engine and Kythera HPA systems.
The gearbox lip supports the nozzle and reduces unwanted sideways movement during feeding. With the nozzle correctly aligned, the tighter fit can help reduce mid-cap syndrome and improve the consistency of BB loading and hop-up performance.
The 0.285" inner diameter leaves approximately 0.0025" / 0.064 mm of clearance on each side of a compatible Fusion Engine or Kythera nozzle.
Important
The gearbox lip reduces nozzle deflection but does not correct nozzle misalignment. If the nozzle is not centred with the inner-barrel bore, the gearbox or HPA engine position must be aligned separately.
