Description
The EPeS AEG Mk.II uni V2/3 cylinder head is a revolutionary upgrade part for V2 and V3 compatible gearboxes. The EPeS cylinder head features a unique design solution that secures the cylinder head in the correct position inside the gearbox and eliminates any unwanted movement during firing. Its innovative design allows the tappet plate to achieve a longer stroke for maximum performance and reliability in AEG replicas. The EPeS cylinder head offers excellent dimensional accuracy and manufacturing quality, finished with an H+PTFE surface treatment. This superior finish ensures extremely smooth and responsive nozzle movement.
Note!
The EPeS Cylinder Head AEG Mk.II uni V2/3 – Extra Long is delivered without a damping pad. Our selection includes various polyurethane damping pads by EPeS in different hardness levels. These pads are available in three different thicknesses and hardness options. Additionally, we offer EPeS Sorbothane damping pads in various hardness and thickness options. The best cylinder head setup is achieved by selecting the appropriate damping pad and Sorbothane insert based on the dimensions and component choices of the tuned replica.
EPeS special impact-absorbing pads, made from durable polyurethane, improve airflow and provide maximum durability and shock absorption. They are available in three different hardness levels and four thickness options, allowing you to set the AOE ideally.
Manufacturer product name: EPeS Cylinder head AEG Mk.II uni V2/3 – Extra Long - EF
Features
- Extra Long size – Extra-long nozzle guide rod, optimal for nozzles over 32 mm in length (e.g., CZ Bren, ASG)
- Nozzle guide rod diameter: 5.35 mm
- Extended tappet plate stroke. Using the longer stroke requires filing the cylinder
- Allows the use of a nozzle up to 1 mm longer than standard for a tighter seal between the nozzle and hop-up rubber during firing
- Eliminates potential feeding issues while maintaining perfect seal between the nozzle and hop-up rubber during firing
- Unique screw-tightening solution to eliminate play between the cylinder head and gearbox shell and to secure the cylinder head in place
- Pin holes designed for optimal fit with RetroArms gearbox
- Made from EN AW 7075-T6 aircraft-grade duralumin, finished with H+PTFE coating for ideal sliding properties while maintaining high surface wear resistance
- Made in the Czech Republic
Damping pad and SorboPad selection for EPeS cylinder head:
Order a suitable polyurethane damping pad or SorboPad insert with the cylinder head.
- Separately sold damping pads are made of polyurethane (PU) in 70, 80, and 90 sh hardness levels, with a maximized impact surface. Pad thickness: 3 mm.
- 70 sh hardness for springs up to SP130
- 80 sh hardness for springs up to SP160
- 90 sh hardness for springs SP170 or higher
- For replicas with very high rate of fire or large ammo capacity (e.g., machine guns firing bursts of over 100 BBs), we recommend using one level softer spring than listed above. For example, with machine guns, the maximum spring strength for 70 sh hardness is SP120.
- Separately sold SorboPad inserts are also available in four different hardness levels. SorboPad improves gearbox shell durability and reduces noise.
- 40 Duro – black – for springs up to SP100
- 50 Duro – gray – for springs up to SP110
- 60 Duro – blue – for springs up to SP120
- 70 Duro – black – for springs up to SP130
- For replicas with very high rate of fire or large ammo capacity (e.g., machine guns firing bursts of over 100 BBs), we recommend using one level softer spring than listed above. For example, with machine guns, the maximum spring strength for 70 sh hardness is SP120.
- For DMR builds using SEMI-only fire mode, one level harder spring can be used.
- For example, 60 Duro SorboPad is suitable as follows:
- In a standard AEG up to SP120 spring
- In a machine gun up to SP110 spring
- In DMR and other semi-auto rifles up to SP130 spring
- For example, 60 Duro SorboPad is suitable as follows:
Package Includes
- 1 cylinder head with two O-rings (21×1.5) – damping pad not included! Order a suitable damping pad or SorboPad with the cylinder head.
- 2 mounting screws M3×3
- 2 mounting screws M3×2
