The Da Vinci Raizen 6.05 GBB precision inner barrel features the type of cut commonly used in gas-powered airsoft guns.
Da Vinci Raizen-series barrels are made from a grade of steel sourced from Japan that enables precise dimensions and consistent quality. Da Vinci has used this material to manufacture airsoft barrels for more than 20 years.
The Raizen barrel differs from standard barrels in its inner diameter and internal surface finish. Standard Tokyo Marui barrels, which are known for their accuracy, have a larger inner diameter than the Raizen barrel.
Benefits of the 6.05 mm inner diameter
A 6.05 mm inner diameter provides a balanced solution for different applications: the barrel is neither extremely tight nor particularly wide. It is made from SUS304 stainless steel to a tolerance of ±0.005 mm.
The consistent internal surface and smaller inner diameter compared with standard barrels, the original Tokyo Marui diameter is approximately 6.08 mm, make the Da Vinci 6.05 mm barrel series an option for pursuing consistent accuracy in different conditions and with different BB types. The small clearance between the BB and the internal barrel surface reduces contact with the barrel. This reduces friction and lowers the risk of the BB's spin changing as it travels through the barrel.
