The GEN2 operating principle can be described as a hybrid between open-bolt and closed-bolt systems, as GEN2 functions as open bolt from the user’s perspective, but the BB is chambered into the hop-up unit like in a closed bolt. This hybrid design allows for easy tuning, reliable feeding even on the first shot, and improved air efficiency.
