Developed in the late 1990s for Russian special forces, the Vityaz was created to be compact, easy to control and highly reliable in close quarters engagements, while remaining fully compatible with the maintenance, handling and training routines of the AK platform.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Vityaz is still used by FSB, SOBR and various other Russian internal security units, and it has been widely featured in news footage, documentaries and video games. LCT’s ZP-1901 brings this iconic firearm to airsoft players with accurate external design and high quality internals, now equipped with Zenit style Sport furniture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe LCT Sport series differs from LCT’s standard models in that the external parts are mostly steel, with exceptions such as the stock, handguard, gas tube cover and top cover, which are made from aluminum. The pistol grip and magazine are made from polymer. The front handguard uses a modular Russian mounting system that serves as their counterpart to the M-LOK and KeyMod standards. As with the Western equivalents, this mounting platform allows flexible placement of RIS rails and accessories in different lengths.
