Specna Arms SA-J73 CORE™ HAL ETU Gen.2 is a modern AK-style electric airsoft gun for players who want a reliable and easily adjustable gun straight out of the box. The J-Series™ CORE Gen.2 combines a lightweight nylon-reinforced polymer body, upgraded internal parts and HAL™ electronics.
The SA-J73 body is made from fiber-reinforced polymer, keeping the overall weight moderate. The steel dust cover, fire selector and trigger guard add durability in high-stress areas. The side dovetail rail allows the use of AK-style optic mounts, and the folding stock makes the gun easier to transport and handle in tighter spaces.
Internal Parts and Systems
The SA-J73 CORE Gen.2 features a V3 gearbox with ESA2™ quick spring change, a TDC Magnus™ Rotary Hop-Up chamber and a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel. The overall setup supports consistent BB flight, good adjustability and reliable operation.

ESA2™ Quick Spring Change
The ESA2™ quick spring change system allows the spring to be changed without fully disassembling the gearbox. The factory-installed spring produces a muzzle velocity of approximately 122 m/s with 0.20 g BBs. The included M90 spare spring allows the muzzle velocity to be lowered for lower power limits, for example.
Compatibility and Batteries
The gun has a Deans/T-plug connector, and a Small Tamiya to Deans adapter is included. The battery compartment is located under the dust cover and is suitable for stick-type LiPo or Li-Ion batteries. Battery and charger are not included in the package.
Magazine Compatibility
The gun is compatible with AK magazines from Cyma, JG, E&L and Bolt. Magazines from other manufacturers may require minor fitting.

HAL™ Trigger Calibration Before First Use
This airsoft gun is equipped with the HAL™ system, and the trigger must be activated before using the gun. Activation is done as follows:
Setup:
1. Turn the fire selector to the “SAFE” position.
2. Connect the battery to the gun.
3. Wait three (3) seconds until the gun emits a “beep” sound.
4. Pull and hold the trigger for approximately five (5) seconds until the gun emits a “beep” sound. This means that the HAL module activation has been successful.
